This durable, fire-rated recessed access panel is designed for installation drywall ceilings in applications where fire resistance and a fully-concealed appearance is required. Featuring 22 gauge steel construction with a satin coat finish, door is fire-rated for 1 1/2 hours in horizontal installations. In addition, door is shipped with a 5/8″ fire-rated drywall panel pre-installed and along with its concealed, a tape-in flange, is perfect for luxury areas where matching the door panel to its surroundings is desired.
